Melissa has a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, is a writer/photographer and published author, worked in Public Relations and Fund Development with variety of of companies and organizations, and owns/operates Spruce Pine Acres Bed & Breakfast in Port au Port West with her husband and three children.

As an American "import," her unique experiences and educational background enable her to showcase her interpersonal skills, intuition and natural abilities when working with people.
